Fast Little Booger

This weekend has flown by too quickly. Friday I didn't go into work. I had an interview and a Doctor's appointment. The interview went exceedingly well. It's a job that would move me back to Cleveland. There's a lot I'm not sure about with it, but I have a second interview this Friday, as well as a "meeting" when I'm in Cleveland the week after that. So we shall see what we shall see.

Friday night I spent with the gang - except the gang grew a bit. It was nice, just bigger and more stressful than expected. I was hoping for something a little lower key. . .oh well.

Saturday I barely left my sofa - except to answer the door for the pizza man.

Sunday I did church, which was good. . .had lunch with Bonnie and then shopped for the next 5 hours. Around 6 we headed to the gym, and kicked some hinnie there. Around 7 we parted ways and I came home to a mess (which I'm about to clean), good TV and a great little novel.

Today I finished the novel and have done nothing else. I have a mess to clean, Christmas decorations to take down (which I want to leave up) and finances to figure out. FYI: I hate finances. I'd rather give blood than figure out why I have $12 to my name. Ugh.

I did buy a fabulous skirt yesterday!

I've updated 101 in 1001 -- I've accomplished ONE THING! Only 100 more to go! I took a Pilates class at my gym on Thursday - I LOVED it and can't wait to do it again. The only sad part is that I was wearing socks that had been worn at least 3 times previously and hadn't shaved my legs in at least 2 weeks and the instructor of course had to come help with my leg positioning. . .I think I may have scarred her for life! I shaved and did laundry. . .the world is saved!

Oh my heavens, I have to add this in. . .This morning I got a note from someone on my MySpace account. It ended up being a girl I went to 7th grade with. That was it, just 7th grade. She was one of the "bad" kids, awkward in her own skin, rough family life, the works. Her way to take control of things was to make fun of me. Anyhow, I barely remembered it, to be honest - heck, that was 1991-1992. . .EONS ago. . .anyhow, I wrote her back a quick update on life. . .she just sent me a note and apologized for how she treated me back then. Explained a few things and said: "but through it all, you were always nice. I just looked in my year book and do you know what you wrote to me? You said "Alison. . .you feel just like a sister to me. We fight like I fight with my sisters." Apparently that was a good thing for her to think of. In a weird way, I'm happy. There's one other boy from 4th through 6th Grades that I wish would apologize. Vaughn Brazil (I don't care that I'm using his real name) called me a fat tub of lard. It's a name I still sometimes hear when I look at myself in the mirror. Sad but true -- -anyhow, Alison apologized for her actions as a confused pre-teen, and life is good.
