Mr. Miagi Meets A Chicken Nook
What ever happened to Ralph Machio? Karate Kid II is on. I don'te remember this one as well as the first and the third ones. The first poster I ever bought of a boy was of Ralph Machio -- I was in love with him! Thank you to the local Video Store, Rays I think it was called this was BB (before blockbuster days). Rays carried posters, kind of like Walmart does. I saved my birthday money to invest in this work of art. Quirky thing is, I don't ever remember putting it up in my room. I remember storing behind the TV system in our living room. Probably by my parents request - -they were quite strict - Hey I'm lucky I was able to buy the poster! The first picture of a boy that I had in my room was a poster from "Bop" or something like that, it was of Neil Patrick Harris -- I LOVED him! I think he's gay now. All the good guys are!
And what is up with Free Willy III? Were they not able to free him the first 2 times?
I'm working again today - yucky! I shopped like a mad woman, or a bored woman - with no life, yesterday. Our Old Navy down on 34th St. has a bargin basement -- I love it! I got a nice dress for Kim's rehearsal dinner - $20!! Reg 40! I also got a cute little halter for $5!!! I had a zillion other things in my bag, but um, I'm poor and shouldn't have even spent that $25!! OH well I'll live. . .I still haven't found silver shoes for kim's wedding. I went back to look for the shoes that I found a few weeks ago, but for some stupid reason, didn't buy. They had every size in silver, except mine. UGH!! I'm looking!!!! I've got 2 weeks to find them!! I"m on the go!! Be on the lookout for me, I need a size 10, I prefer wide, but Ill live in pain if i must! Keep me posted!
This is an FYI for my loyal readers: Any quotes or anything for my desk?? If you read this and I don't know you do, sign my guestbook, I want to know who else I entertain from time to time!!
Sorry this is a nonsense entry, but hey, it's a nonsense kind of day!!
OHHH!! The apt from yesterday was awesome! But totally above what I can handle. . . plus the 1400 cheaper room was the kitchen nook, they build walls around the kitchen (not chicken - that's what I first typed) nook!! Although the place was phenominal, I"m not sure if I want to spend 1400/mo on a chicken nook :o) Whatever, the guy and I talked for nearly an hour afterwards, about baseball and stuff. ...it was cool!!! Once I make better money I may look into it -- but not now (FYI - um I probably won't look into it!!)
No CSOTD basically because I haven't left my house today -- I'm working from home -- YUCK!!!
